Using VPP To Manage Apps

If you will be putting apps on devices, you’ll need to use an Apple VPP account. The VPP, or Volume Purchasing Program, is accessed in one of two ways:
• For business, use the following URL and have a DUNS number handy: http://www.apple.com/business/vpp
• For schools, use the following URL http://www.apple.com/education/it/vpp/

The Getting Start link placed you into a screen to setup the VPP account. You can always come back to this at a later time, but the certificate installation screen we provide makes the process a snap. First, click on the Download File button and download our vpptoken file.

Then, log into the Apple Push Certificates portal, when prompted.

Create a certificate and then download the certificate to your computer.

Once the VPP token has been added, you’ll see any apps that you’ve purchased through the Apple Volume Purchasing Program appear in your list of available apps. These apps will automatically be assigned to all devices that are in your Bushel. If you don’t want any specific apps deployed, simply move those to your Library from the Deployed Apps section of your Bushel account.
